Best BBQ- Pappy’s Smokehouse– What to get: Half slab of ribs with sweet potato fries and fried corn on the cob

Great Microbrew Pub- Schlafly’s Brew Pub– Loads of great Microbrews, especially the Hefeweizen, Pumpkin Ale, Christmas Ale, and most of all the Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, excellent Fish and Chips, British Steak Pie and sticky toffee pudding.

Sandwich- Crown Candy Kitchen– A historic location provides a great backdrop to a fun lunch topped off by one of their amazing milkshakes or malts.  Make sure to try their huge BLT!

Amazing Custard- Ted Drewes– Incredible custard, Being from the south I love the Praline Pecan Custard, yum!!!

Great Lunch- Fountain on Locust– The Fountain on Locust provides a unique dining experience from it’s Art Deco theme to it’s specialty Ice Cream and drinks.  Make sure to try the Polish Dill Pickle Soup (sounds weird, tastes great), Hot Roast Beef Melt, All of the Salads and the Egg Cream Drink is to die for.

Best Steak- John D. McGurks Irish Pub– Incredible steaks both the Gaelic Steak and the Blue Cheese Encrusted Ribeye.  Fun and festive atmosphere as well.
